PDP Leading Aspirant, Barr(Dr.)Asue Ighodalo Visits Esan Traditional Rulers —-Seeks their Support
It is no longer news that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the dates for the off-cycle governorship elections in Edo and Ondo states. The electoral umpire has also released the timetable of activities leading to the elections.
For Edo State, the governorship election has been scheduled to be held on 21 September 2024, according to a statement by the commission’s spokesperson, Sam Olumekun.
“The tenure of the Governor of Edo will end on 11th November 2024, the statement further noted.
Against this backdrop, Edo state political atmosphere is charged with revived enthusiasm as Aspirants jostle for recognition.
Leading the packs of Aspirants in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is Barrister(Dr.) Asue Ighodalo who New Sentinel gathered visited traditional rulers in Esanland to receive their blessing and support.
