Dangote, Tony Cheijina shine At 2018 BJAN Award

The 2018 conference of the Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN) might have come and gone, but the beautiful memories from that event would last forever in the minds of participants.

Among the things that would make the 2018 conference a memorable one was the winning of the award of 2018 BJAN Best Communication Manager in Manufacturing Sector in Nigeria, by Mr. Anthony Chiejina.

Dangote Chiejina was picked by the Association because he has been identified as silent finger behind the Dangote Brands where he takes a seat at the zenith of command in the competitive communication industry, where skills are highly required.

Chiejina, according to BJAN, is a corporate communication expert with extensive brand marketing, public affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) experience, despite his silent and reserved personality, he remains one among few, most highly respected senior managers in the corporate communications field.

According the BJAN Chairman, Goddie Ofose, “In the past few years, Chiejina has relentlessly been focus-driven strategic and has contributed to the growth of communication brand of the upscale Dangote Group and his profile is speaking volumes and impeccability, but the does not make him bring any airs around himself. He goes about 0pushing his job the way he deems fit and leaves the rest to others to judge.”

The Associated pointed out that prior to the appointment of Chiejina as the Group Head, Corporate Communications for the Dangote Group, he served as the former Assistant Manager /Head Corporate Affairs for defunct Oceanic Bank.

Also, he served as Personnel Manager/Editorial Adviser to the manufacturer of 7-Up Beverage Company, then he moved to Zenith Bank Plc, where he also served as the Head, Corporate Communications.
