Egypt – Fire at a Coptic Church in Cairo – Statement by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs Spokesperson
We were shocked to learn of the fire which broke out at Abu Sifin Coptic church on Sunday 14 August, claiming very many lives.
France extends its sincere condolences to the bereaved. It wishes the injured a speedy recovery.
France continues to stand in full solidarity with the Egyptian authorities and people at this difficult time.
