Ife North APC Congratulates Oyetola, SRJ On Appointments By Richard Akintade, Osogbo
Members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State have congratulated the immediate past Governor of the state, Mr. Oyetola on his appointment as Minister of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The joyous APC members also rejoiced with Senator Ajibola Basiru on his elevation as the National Secretary of the party.
In a congratulatory message issued and made available to newsmen on Sunday by the Ife North LGA APC Elders’ Council Chairman, Prince Omolade Binuyo and LGA party Chairman, Honourable Philip Adebiyi, the party members expressed optimism that the duo of Oyetola and Basiru will use their wealth of experience in the discharge of their duties.
“We believe that Mr Oyetola and Senator Basiru are consummate politicians who come on board with a lot of experiences while their emergence is a testament of their years of dedication and commitment to the party.
“We, the progressive family of Ife North LGA, Osun State, who are leaders and members of the party have watched keenly the development in our dear party at the national level recently and of particular interest to us is both the constitution of Federal Cabinet by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu where our state leader and the immediate past Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Isiaq Adegboyega Oyetola, was nominated as a Minister Federal Republic of Nigeria and as well the repositioning of the National Working Committee, NWC of our party where another eminent personality of the party in the state who was the immediate past Senate Spokesman, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Bashir emerged as the new National Secretary of the party.
“This congratulatory message from Ife North LGA APC, is to identify with your choices, and a vote of confidence in your worthy representation of both our party and the State.
“His Excellency Isiaq Adegboyega Oyetola is a renowned performer in his chosen profession before delving into politics while his outstanding achievement during his four years single term tenure in Osun State prominently dots every landscape presently and so your fantastic performance as a Minister in any ministry is predictable.
“Also, Senate Surajudeen Ajibola’s antecedents and CV especially his performance as the spokesperson of Upper Chamber of the 9th Session of the National Assembly was excellent and we are sure you will bring your rich wealth of experience to facilitate an effective national secretariat of our party.
“His Excellency Oyetola, is a good leader that we can all vouch for in Osun to carry our mandate in any capacity and perform creditably, adding we are rest assured Osun State has pooled a fundamental human resources towards the achievement of the “Renewed Hope” we all look forward to.
As for emergence of the Law Scholar and legal juggernaut, Senator Ajibola Bashir, as the APC National Secretary, we are glad that not only that the office was returned to Osun State but to someone who has the capacity to deliver as we all look forward to reclaim Osun State gubernatorial mandate as a party in 2026.
