Past Heads of States, Governors, others attend as Buhari presides over Council of State meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday presided over a meeting of the National Council of State.
The meeting discussed crucial issues affecting Nigeria such as the currency crisis and fuel scarcity.
It also reviewed the preparations for the general election.
The National Council of State is an organ of the Nigerian government with the power to advise the Executive on policy making.
Friday’s meeting was a hybrid meeting: while some members were physically present at the State House Abuja venue, others joined online.
The former Nigerian leaders physically present were Yakubu Gowon, Abdulsalami Abubakar and Goodluck Jonathan.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo joined online.
